Our classes are offered as restorative yoga - deeply relaxing, relieving pain and stiffness while building strength. The instructor has experience teaching students with prior injuries who may need to modify the movements.
Adults of any fitness level with no previous yoga experience may attend as well as experienced yoga practitioners.
Yoga practice tones the body, enhances circulation and flexibility, refreshing the spirit. The training involves conscious stretching, strengthening and relaxation, while treating oneself with compassion, not forcing the movements. Students become stronger and more flexible.
Deep breathing accompanies the practice and guided relaxation brings a focus to calm the mind.
