Makoto Kai is celebrating is 20th Anniversary in 2010! We're excited to be able to share a celebration with our students, their families, former students, and friends. From its humble beginnings in Sensei Cynthia Frueh's garage, Makoto Kai has matured into a well-respected and thriving dojo within the AJJF DZR community.
Schedule
10:00 am - Special Training Class for visiting jujitsu students, open to all ranks (current AJJF registration required)
11:00 am - Dojo Demonstration, open to all spectators!
12:30 pm (approx) - lunch
About the Event
Our special training class just for jujitsuka currently in training will offer a glimpse at some of the dojo-specific traditions and techniques as originally taught by Sensei Frueh, as well as some of the new concepts that have been practiced in the dojo in more recent times. It will truly be a walk through the past 20 years of Makoto Kai's history! This special class is free to all AJJF jujitsuka who wish to attend. Current AJJF registration is required (event only registrations will be available for $5).
Also free of charge and open to all spectators, the annual dojo demonstration will allow the instructors and students of Makoto Kai to show the results of their hard work and training. Each of our current students will have an opportunity to demonstrate techniques and concepts.
We hope you'll be able to join us! It's an exciting time for all of us at Makoto Kai, and we would love for you to share it with us.
